Police Officer arrested

In 2009, the Anti-Corruption Bureau received a complaint alleging that police officers at Ntaja Police Post corruptly solicited various sums of money totalling about K146,000.00 from suspects in order to release them on police bail.

Teacher in Ntcheu arrested

On 12th February, 2008, the Anti-Corruption Bureau received a complaint alleging that a teacher at Chimbani Primary School in Ntcheu used her younger sister’s certificate to get employed as a teacher with the Malawi Government.
