HIGH COURT IN LILONGWE DISMISSES COMPENSATION CLAIMS WITH COSTS

On 14th January, 2019, the High Court in Lilongwe dismissed compensation claims in Civil case number 779 of 2014 between Greselder Jeffrey, Brian Kachingwe, Agnes Kaphikire representing Philip Kaphikire (deceased) and Tadala Chakhaza representing Brighton Chakhaza (deceased) and the Bureau. On 12th September, 2013, the Anti-Corruption Bureau received a complaint alleging that Government Officers at Capital Hill were making fraudulent entries in the Integrated Financial Management Information System (IFMIS).
